Common Law represents the will of the people & not that of the Judiciary, Executive office or Legislature.  Trial By Jury without judicial interference represents the will of the people. If a sufficient percent (75%) of the population did not vote for representatives then those representatives do not represent the people & do not have sufficient authority to enact legislation.
